Miles is all energy it's as if he has petrol in his veins and death keeps glancing at him from the rear view mirror while he's speeding through life. He never means to hurt anybody but he's an untamed force who simply doesnt know how to slow down. He tries, sometimes, for his dear mothers sake, but trouble semm to gravitate towards

Their physical closeness suggested intimacy

She’s drawn to shiny objects like a burglar at night

the kind that just happens when you’re too young to care

He’s a gentle soul

and a glass always half-full of something strong

not so much to gain their respect as to figure out what to say

He does know though

It's very special to me as it was the first thing I painted when I got a little energy back after spending many days with my son in hospital
