The liners first sailed in 1928 as DUCHESS OF BEDFORD and DUCHESS OF RICHMOND. Six decks are shown in detail with all sorts of color coding indicating cabin types and public rooms. Photos line the sides, unidentified as to vessel. First Class views show the Lounge, Dining Room, Cocktail Room,
