The property was purchased by current owner and winemaker Fabio Sirecis grandfather Rosario in the late 1800s. In local Sicilian dialect, Lagnusa, meaning lazy, alludes to the naturally low yields inherent in this vineyard. This site sits at around 600 metres and is primarily comprised of sand and clay.
