George Gibbs silvered steel wick trimmer (c. 1808)Rare Birmingham cast steel & silver wick trimmer with the impressed makers mark and lion passant (which indicates sterling silver). The trimmer is raised on three short posts, one each at the finger rings and one at the wax pick.
