GALLNUT EXTRACT/TANNINGallnut extract of Sumac, Rhus Semialata Murr. Very high content in tannic acid combined with a very low colour. Using this increases lightfastness of the resulting colours. When used in conjunction with iron sulphate, the colours can be solid and dark. It has the quality to make dark shades and can be used with madder on silk and wool to create darker hues. Comes in 50 gm packing.
